Kas Kite Festival poster
Starting at 10:00 am and continuing until dark, the entire town gathers at Akçagerme Beach (Plaj) with homemade kites or bought ones to fly them high, and the competition is to see who can fly theirs for the longest.
There is plenty of food and drink to be had and lots of entertainment for everyone.
